Preetha Gunasekar

I am an Early Years Literacy Consultant and Cognitive Development Consultant. Accredited by Jolly Phonics - UK, and I CAN READ - Singapore, I’m also a teacher and I have been teaching for about 10 years now. I love my job because, it is the most important job in the world, in my opinion. Reading is important for kids and we made 200 kids read this year &every year.

One of my favourite tasks as a cognitive consultant is helping parents to understand their children better. This helps them to provide more support to their children in order to make them feel more confident about themselves and what they can do. I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to grow into an intelligent, confident, happy person who can contribute meaningfully to society.
